Celebrating Jack Dormand Care Home Outstanding CQC Rating
The care home was rated as ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC.
Jack Dormand accommodates up to 43 people with nursing care needs, including those living with dementia.
The CQC noted the innovative ways of improving the social and communication skills of people with social anxiety disorders. Inspectors found that staff had identified people with communication needs or who requiring additional social stimulation and took the time to visit them in their rooms and engage in activities or conversations of their choice.
Grahame Morris MP said, “This is a great achievement as only around 3% of care homes in England achieve this rating. I would like to congratulate and thank all the staff for their dedication and hard work, and the high level of care and support they provide to residents”
